Device 6 Snatches Award at the 2014 Independent Games Festival
Update: The full list of award winners have been announced for the 2014 Independent Games Festival (IGF). We're very pleased to report that the fantastic Device 6 from Simogo (grab it here) took home the top gong for Excellence in Audio. Luxuria Superbia from Tale of Tales (grab it here) nabbed the Nuovo Award for Innovation. Make sure to also keep your eye on the upcoming title Gorogoa by Jason Roberts, due out in late 2014, which picked up an award for Excellence in Visual Art.

Original Story: The finalists for the 2014 Independent Games Festival (IGF) have been announced. Leading the charge is the amazing Device 6, which has been nominated in four separate categories (Excellence in Visual Art, Excellence in Narrative, Excellence in Audio and the prestigious Seumas McNally Grand Prize). Grab It Magazine rated Device 6 a 4.5/5 and you can find our review and an interview with developer Simogo in Issue 0 of Grab It Magazine.
Also up for a gong is 868-HACK (Excellence in Design), Drei (Excellence in Visual Art) and Luxuria Superbia (Nuovo Award). An honourable mention went to Detective Grimoire for Excellence in Narrative.
A number of these titles snuck into our Top 50 iPad Games of 2013.
