This is off-topic given we're focused on indie iPad games, but cool is cool, so we thought we'd share. The video below shows a very talented young lady using an ancient Chinese instrument called a Sheng to play the iconic Super Mario Bros. music. It's startling how close this towering beast of an instrument comes to recreating retro gaming music. Has the Sheng been Nintendo's secret all along?
