Grab These Bargains - Joe Danger Infinity and Oasis: Path to Redemption

Two rather enjoyable twists on the endless runner genre have just received price drops for a small amount of time. Both are now just 99c and worth snapping up at that price. The first is Joe Danger Infinity, which is a spin-off on the fantastic stunt-racing platformer that has you swiping and tapping to navigate an obstacle course while busting tricks as you fly along on a motorbike. Although this time you will also enjoy other vehicles such as planes, cars, jeeps, tanks, quad-bike and even a firework as you take on different roles in a Toy Story like journey through a child's play room. It's charming, addictive and fun.

The second is Oasis: Path to Redemption, which stands out for two reasons. Unusually for the genre, it puts a heavy emphasis on story, as you take on the role of the last person in a post-apocalyptic world on a desperate run for a mythical oasis that may save the world. This is probably a result of the developer Steve Uy's comic book history. This leads to our second notable feature, as artist Uy has given the game a unique visual flourish. The game can become a bit of an XP grind, but it survives this concern by giving the combat a lot of depth.
