Abducted Probes Horror on iOS
The first game from Sunside Inc certainly aims high - in fact, all the way to the stars. An episodic action-adventure game doused in horror with a hint of RPG, Abducted puts you in the shoes of an ordinary Average Jill whisked away by aliens to the other side of the universe and tasked with the rather vital goal of "escape." To aid your cause is The Arm, which is in effect your arm implanted with an alien computer that gives you all kinds of insights into your mysterious environment. The below trailer reveals the washed-out artistic flourishes, atmospheric score and old-school gameplay - and it's got just enough creepiness to it to really intrigue. We'll be checking it out ahead of the next issue, but eager abductees can jump in right here for $2.99.
Sunside's first iOS game, the story-driven action-adventure Crow, is also worth a look for $.99.
