6 Awesome Things We Discovered Today
So much happens in the world of indie game development any given second, we thought we’d wrap up some of the most intriguing things that passed across our eyes today.
1.) Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf: Blood on the Snow dropped from $5.49 to 99c and is an incredible bargain at the price. Full story here, or grab the game here.
2.) I’ve been playing the Monument Valley beta by developer UsTwo – it’s incredible! This is one very special game.
3.) The developer of Fist of Awesome got married, so did a Deal of Awesome. The game is 99c for a few days. Grab it here.
4.) The mathematics-turned-puzzle game Threes! is quickly becoming the must-own game of February, with rave reviews pouring in across the world. When we featured it in our 10 Awesome New Trailers for 10 New Indie iOS Games article a few weeks back, we could see the fun, but didn’t expect such success. Well done to developers Greg Wohlwend and Asher Vollmer, and you can grab the game here.
5.) It doesn’t look like anybody is going to beat Stephen Mitchell’s crazy 101900 score in the extreme mode of addictive endless dodger Avoid Sensory Overload. Grab the game here, and look for the leaderboard here.
6.) I finally finished Nihilumbra by Beautifun Games and it’s truly a beautiful experience. I highly recommend checking out this atmospheric, contemplative platformer if you haven’t already. You can grab it here.
